When you land in the Maldives you will be asked to fill in a Immigration and Emigration form. The Maldives do not allow you to bring in Alcohol (even duty free), it will be taken off you on arrival. Set Sail – Maldives Boat Trip Video

Our latest “open” Maldives Boat trip returned over the weekend. Starting out in the Male Atolls we surfed a number of breaks including Sultans, Jail Breaks and Honkys. The swell dropped off and after a quick surf forecast check we decided to up anchor and head south to the remote Thaa Atoll.

The next five days we surfed perfect, long and tropical waves, with not one other boat or surfer around!

The days were spent surfing (9 hours in one day was the record) and the evenings were spend fishing off the boat and a few cold cans of Tiger beer.

Day one

A day in Transit.

The day began with an early morning wake up. We where quickly on the road to begin our Surfgirl adventure. We’re flying  out of Gatwick  so we had a long journey ahead of us but we got the tunes blasting out and the time flew bye!
