If you are heading into 2013 looking forward to learning a new skill or ticking off that bucket list then a learn to surf holiday could be right up your ally.

Since 2005 we have provided unforgettable learn to surf holidays across the globe for hundreds of (now-hooked-for-life) surfers.

When learning to surf it is important to make sure you pick the right location. Ideally warm water, small to medium size waves created by ground swell (nice and organised waves) and of course excellent surf coaching.

You won’t need any experience and most likely will not even actually get out your depth to begin with. We do however suggest you should be comfortable enough to swim 50 meters.

All surfing equipment is generally provided, wetsuits (if needed), surfboards, leash and wax. If you own your own surfboard we do suggest taking it as your surf coach can train you on your own surfboard. Perfect for when you get home to rip it up with friends.

Finally the most important thing to bring is patience. It can be a long road but along the way it’s going to be excellent fun, so make the most of those classic wipe outs, amazing sunsets and new surf buddies.
