The Autumn Euro Trip – Accommodation

After making the decision to hunt out the best waves that Europe has to offer, I’ve had to think about how I’m going to do this as economically as possible. There a plenty of cheap, clean and fun accommodation options available around France, Spain and Portugal, but I decided that I want to do this properly so rounded up a mate and bought a van…

Yes I know it’s not pretty, but it was a bargain and a very good base for a home for a … Continue Reading

Euro Surf Championships head to Ireland

The top European surfers from 13 nations are in the North West coast of Ireland as the world renowned reef break at Bundoran hosts the European Surfing Championships.

After a nice long drive-ferry-drive the English team finally touched down in the Emerald Isle and their moans of numb asses were soon dismissed when they met up with Oli Adams, who had flown in from the Maldives to represent his country. Good on you Oli! The rest of the English team are as follows:

Open – Tom Butler (Newquay), Oli Adams (Newquay), … Continue Reading

Well luckily for me, Errant’s head honcho, Chris Thomson understands this nomadic desire to surf new spots and has not only given me the go ahead to take a couple of months of to roam the EU, but given me some top advice over the past few months to make sure everything goes smooth.

I have decided to condense and regurgitate this info to all of … Continue Reading

This could also be due to the ASP holding one event of the dream tour at Arugam Bay every year, or simply the fact that it gets the same swell as the Indonesian Islands (meaning picture perfect beachies), it’s cheap and easy to fly to (with … Continue Reading

Moroccan Magic

Annie Cummins, self-confessed surf girl and blogger tells us what its like to surf in Morocco for the first time.

Im 23 years old, Not the world’s best surfer & I haven’t surfed outside Europe, Yet there I was standing outside Agadir Airport in Morocco wondering what on earth I’ve let myself in for.

I’ve read a few things about Morocco on the internet & heard stories from friends who have been there, but it’s not until you physically see it in the beautiful sunshine that you realise what a … Continue Reading
