New British Surf Association Executive Committee

New British Surf Association Executive Committee

There is currently an election in process for the BSA Executive Committee. If you’ve got an opinion on the BSA, or are interested in the future on British Surfing, I’d encourage you to review the candidates and register your vote in due course. Myself (Chris Phillips, Finance), Chris Thomson (Chairman), Simon Tucker (Performance) and Geoff Swallow/Ben Ridding (Joint Candidates, Strategy) have been working hard to ensure a fair and democratic election takes place. We’re all passionate about British Surfing, and want to see the BSA move forward.

Have a look at our CV’s and Manifesto’s. The BSA will be sending out ballot details in due course. To vote, you need to be a fully paid up member. Voting will commence on Monday 5th July at Midnight, and cease on Monday 12th July at Midnight. Voting may be by:

a) Returning the paper Voting slip that should be sent to all BSA members (please mark the envelope “election”. If you do not receive a voting slip, please contact the BSA).
b) Vote by Email – Election must be the subject line, and the email should include the voters membership number, and the details of who you wish to vote for.

To vote you must be a fully paid up senior member, with family memberships being counted as one vote.

Thanks everyone, Chris Phillips.
