So I’m sat feeling pretty “surfed out”, we had a cool family come surf with us this morning in Newquay, some cracking little waves. Then I headed back out to Watergate to get the high tide session, again fun little waves. After an hour defrosting in the shower grabbed my laptop and started “surfing” around trying my best to avoid watching Eastenders, when I came across this video from Tahiti of Manoa Drollet. Busy day today at our surf school in Newquay. We had the final lifeguard exam for our March “Cross Step” Course, 8 young people out of work and education have been trained to become British Surfing Association surf coaches and NARS Beach Lifeguards since the start of March, at no cost to them.

Every time I drive for a surf in full knowledge it is going to be amazing I seem to get stuck behind just about every possible slow moving vehicle!
